This was a super museum. It was great to see up close artwork that before I only saw in books. There are top shelf paintings from every master you can imagine. The process of getting in and out of the museum was quick despite the security checkpoint. I went early in the morning so there was less pressure than later. I would suggest you make this your first stop in the morning to avoid the lines. This was a great experience. I would like to return again because the was just so much to see.

This museum is one of my favorite places to go to when I'm in Paris. It's big enough that you will be entertained and small enough that you can cover the whole entire place for the day. The building alone is gorgeous, but the art inside is out of this world. Aside from the Louvre, I make it a point to visit this place also.

Thankfully it’s less crowded than the Louvre. There’s a line for visitors who bought tickets online or has the museum pass (entrance C). Those without tickets will have to enter via entrance A. The lines for both queues are about the same when we visited at 11am on Tuesday. About 20-30min wait. Some exhibitions are closed due to renovations when we visited on 15 Oct.

Art in an old train station will having you smiling. I spent two quality hours here enjoying this museum and its special exhibitions. There are lots of visitors, but that is to be expected in one of the best museums in Paris. The biggest crowded areas were in the Impressionist galleries.

Wow! What an impressive museum! This probably one of the best museums I have visited France so far. You will need at least a full day to go through all it has to offer! We spent right under 7 hours with 3rd and 4th fl. closed temporary, i felt it was a bit too short. I could easily use another 3 hours. Great collection of arts. The museum did a great job present the art in a nice flow, as well as did such a good job on the audio— 5 euro/ piece. Highly recommend getting it. Not to mention how incredible it is to have a museum that’s built on an old train station. Tips: 1) Do purchase the ticket right of this Google page so you don’t have to wait in line! 2) Thursday it opens till 9 PM
