An incredible UNESCO protected national park with 16 lakes, pristine nature, and an indescribable shade of blue, this national park has it all. Hidden away between the mountains, this national park is the highlight of Croatia and well-recognized throughout the world.
We start our journey from Zadar and head north. We go through one of the longest tunnels in Croatia, cutting through the Velebit Mountain, and reaching a completely different region of Croatia. The journey to Plitvice is about 2 hours with a short stop along the way. Our local guide will entertain you with stories connected to the region and Plitvice Lakes themselves on the route. Once we get to the entrance and use the group fast pass to beat the line, your local guide will inform you of the route, meeting point and meeting time.
You will have a choice of walking with the tour guide or exploring the national park on your own. You can choose to do most of it on foot, or a combination of boat, train, and on foot.
After the tour finishes, we head back to Zadar.
