A wonderful area to explore. You can either decide to stick to the normal "tourist route" along the lakes - or choose to go off the path to follow several trails that lead through the amazing forest area (the trails have different difficulty levels) For us it was a very pleasant experience :)

Beautiful spot so certainly worth the trek. We went as part of a tour from split which was great for getting there and sorting tickets but we were a little rushed for my other half who is photographer. If you are into taking detailed pics I would recommend getting there the night before and staying locally to get in early.

Amazing views, great trails which were quite exhausting. But there are other options to get around the park and get great views without too much walking. Only downside in my opinion it has become very touristic and quite crowded.

Beautiful park and absolute must-see. However, going early and taking the 8 am bus is a must to enjoy the park. After 9, the place is simply flooded by Asian and American tourists who will stop at nothing to get a picture at every possible corner.

One of the best places in Croatia. Spend at least one full day (even 2 days if you like nature and photography). Reach as early as possible because it gets crowded as the day progresses!
