We rented the scooter for 3 days, on the last day its battery ran out, we returned the scooter but couldn't get any money back. Couldn't reply the owner comment, so I reply it here: First of all, it didn't run out of gas, the tank had even more gas than when we first took it from the shop. We and the people from the hotel did open the tank to see whether it ran out of gas and it did not. At least around 1litre. Second of all, the scooter couldn't start the engine because battery ran out, not that there was no gas so it couldn't start the engine meanwhile there was still some gas. And last but not least, it's not 30km away, there were 3 routes to go there : 19km or 20km or 23km. 30km huh? You must have taken a route to the end of the island then went to the destination.
Rating bike rental here Looks like all previous comments are made by their friends? First time I saw such pushy motorbike rental agents in Vietnam (or maybe even in all SE Asia from my experience!). The price for an automatic bike to rent at 1.30 pm and to give back (!) at 9pm the same day is 350k VND, I’ve never seen these prices in Vietnam before. And the agents are not nice at all. For the semi-automatic they quoted 250k to return by 9pm the same day. Just take a taxi to the city center and rent in a normal place..(120k for semi-automatic or 150 for automatic)
Good. Rat tot...
