Spectacular view! Crowded, but you'd expect that, it's a lookout point in San Francisco.. it'll attract everyone. It was real nice. We drove up to the very top but I know some people hike or bike. The car parked next to us got broken in to... so be aware of leaving valuables in the car. It was crazy that it happened RIGHT there, people all around.. so heads up.

This was our second time here and we loved and enjoyed it just like the first time. It’s very windy and cold up there so make sure to layer up. I would recommend doing this drive or hike on your first day since it’s outside SF’s main attractions and if you don’t go it first you might run out of time.

Worth the visit for spectacular 360 degree views. Excellent views of downtown. Really helps to appreciate the size of the city and Bay Area as a whole. You can see golden gate park as well as the bridge, and across the bay. There’s a bus route (I forget the number) that will take you right to the foot of the peaks. Very windy up there so take a jacket. There are bathrooms.

Tourist spot with full panoramic view of San Francisco. You can walk or drive to the viewing deck. You won't need to spend a whole lot of time up there, snap a few photos take in the scenery, hike around a bit & that's pretty much it. Oh yeah keep your head on a swivel, quite a few tourists get mugged up there. Enjoy

Stunning view of the the San Francisco skyline. Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge, Alcatraz and other points of interest are also visible. Only drawback is that it seems that I have to slowly navigate through so many residential neighborhoods before you get to the peak.
