This is a restaurant not to miss. Fresh, high quality ingredients, deliciously prepared without unnecessary tricks. Creative farm to table menu that will not disappoint at any course of the evening. We had a romantic date night here and can't wait to be back soon. I think it's a incredible value for the quality of food that is being served. Oh and did I mention the wine... Yes we loved their unique and delicious selection of wines. All around great!!!

Another great Renee Erickson restaurant. Open air dining room with a beautiful patio perfect for enjoying seafood during the summer months. We very much enjoyed our lite European fare. The sea wolf bread is always a delight. When toasted a laden with sardines, it is even better. The chicken was fantastic and cooked perfectly! The halibut was interesting and cooked in very different style, but was cooked to a perfect texture and still maintained its delicate nature. The warm charred Savoy cabbage salad was a different as well and very enjoyable. Would definitely come back and try other iterations of the menu!

Great NW fare restaurant with an inventive and changing menu. A great place for a date or a celebratory dinner. My only negative comment is that the portions tend to be small.

We've been to many of Chef Renee Erickson's restaurants for our wedding anniversary but The Whale Wins totally won. Best service. Warm, genuine and friendly staff. Exquisite food. And just a great space. I want to go here everyday.

Exceptional staff, great attitude, very helpful. The food was excellent. The Clams were awesome, I could have eaten 100 more, easily.
