We were stying at the Condos at Gulf Place and noticed the lively atmosphere here. so we opted to give the place a try. We sat on the sidewalk/patio section right on 30A. Enjoyed people watching and listening to music in the background. We started with Grilled oysters and they were fantastic, although they did seem a tad small, but that seems to be the normal these days for raw oysters. Daughter had Lobster Bisque and it was great. We opted to go with the Fried Shrimp basket and Fries. now we normally do not go the "fried" route, as it seems most fried shrimp dishes are just "so-so". NOT this place...the shrimp had GREAT flavor and were also pretty large.For the area, I am going to say the place was priced about average and about what i expected to pay, so it is not "cheap" by any means, but will not break the bank. I will give a thumbs up to this place if on 30A!

Perfect lunch experience for our girls trip! The tuna poke, crab claws & shrimp is a must have for appetizers. Christopher was our waiter and I must say he was full of knowledge about the menu and made our experience so much better. He was very attentive and made sure we were great & didn’t need for anything the entire time we were there because he was already on top of it. Thank you Christopher for an awesome dining experience! You are an asset to Shunk Gully & next time we come back, we will be asking for you!!!!

The oysters must be from Apalachicola, because they taste like the ocean...so fresh. Shucking skill is key to a good oyster and those were some of the most perfectly presented I've eaten. Must have the Duck Fat Fries if you go...ridiculously good!

Perfect Sunday lunch. I assume a limited menu because of the holiday weekend but great choices. My wife is vegetarian and she was limited to the one dish - quinoa salad. I had the burger and Parmesan garlic fries and they were amazing. Others at our table loved their fish and shrimp. We sat outside and our waitress wore a mask. Pleased with covid practices. Easy to get in and get seated. Loved our meal and will go back.

Great view from the bar upstairs. They give you a ton of fries in their baskets! Sweet tea fried chicken is my fave. Love that you can get a bushwhacker here.
