Seattle Aquarium is absolutely fantastic! Definitely one of the best aquariums I've ever been to. The fish tanks are set up so beautifully with all the local fish in the area. The mammals area with the seals and sea otters are by far my favourites though. Could watch them all for hours! Also love how there are staff everywhere that you can chat with about each of the animals or fish. Highly recommend a visit, and if you're touring the area - definitely use the City Pass to see all the top sites including the aquarium!
Great place to visit and happy aquatic life! Only downside is the path through the aquarium isn't very linear or well marked so you may have to double back to see everything! Lots of educators on staff to answer questions and a great touch tank though!
The aquarium experience was pleasant. Located at the waterfront so lots of places to eat after. Mornings were less busy and some really unique fishes and mammals. They offer a live underwater scuba diver chat within the aquarium which runs on certain times.
Very very cute animals and very moving stories of where they come from and why they are here. Well structured enclosures. Also love the touching pool where you can touch sea urchins and star fishes. Staff is so knowledgeable and so nice when answering questions. Location is close to pike place market so perfect for day trip
The touch and feel part of the aquarium stays busy with an abundance of people. It is fun to touch the sea creatures, so find a small opening around the area and gently touch the sea creatures. You won't regret it! My personal favorite area was the seal enclosure! This enclosure is outside on the pier. These creatures are fun to watch them zoom by the glass!
