The tower was great and the bagels were so fresh. Oh and the sticky rolls and French toast were delightful and not too sweet. The coffee was incredibly bitter but maybe that's by design since they don't offer any other specialty coffee either. Incredibly busy so try to get a reservation. I wish they had more washrooms. There were two washrooms and the place is huge. They probably could have put in more washrooms in the space they had.
Probably the best brunch in New York City. Always packed (book in ADVANCE), but there enough space from one sit to another. The food is delicious (bagels and lox, Benedict with smoked salmon, cinnamon rolls above all) and drinks are very good and with the right quantity. Quite pricey, but worth the extra money. The team is very kind.
Unfortunately, we had a horrendous, first time experience at this highly recommended place. We had a 1PM reservation for 4. Arrived on time, but weren't seated until 1:30PM. Didn't get drinks for about 15 minutes. No refills offered after the first drinks came out. One hour after being seated, 1.5 hours after our reservation time, our simple breakfast brunch order of French toast was raw on the inside. Hard to see how they could've messed that up, but 2 out of 2 orders were not cooked on the inside, not even close. We paid and left, informing the manager our experience was disappointing. She was very nice and apologetic. Nevertheless, we left extremely disappointed. This spot was very, very crowded, however, many tables just talking and taking too much time to clear out....maybe they can manage their tables better to meet reservation expectations.
Amazing bagels!!! I got the everything bagel with cream cheese. The chopped onion and seeds were toasted perfectly to release all the little flavors, and the cream cheese was divine. Great atmosphere too!
It was a nice restaurant. Had reservations for brunch on Saturday. Looked pretty crowded and saw people waiting. We were seated a little after the reservation time. Ordered the House Salmon with an everything 2.0 bagel ($24) with an additional everything 2.0 bagel ($3) for 2 people. The bagels were smaller than what you usually see. They were a bit tough to chew. Tasted high quality. Worth checking out but not a "must try"
