Pros: After shopping around different grocery stores I’ve noticed that taking advantage of QFCs card program makes certain fruit, meat, and Kroger brand things cheaper. I’m not one for name brand things and I eat pretty simple, so I save money here. This store also has everything I need, and hasn’t had anything out of stock anytime that I’ve come. I usually bus or bike, but the few times I’ve driven there has been parking available in their lot. This is the closest grocery store to me that isn’t Trader Joe’s (which I haven’t bothered going to just yet) and I’m 100% okay with shopping here long term. Their attendants have been nice so far. Cons: As others have pointed out, checking out can be nerve wracking and messy. The check out area gets crowded very easily, and it’s hard to get out of the way of other shoppers. One time I wanted to get some fruit, and had to squeeze by the people in the checkout line just because of the way the layout is set up. Multiple times I’ve had to call the attendant during self-checkout, because their system is not that great. And there really aren’t ever more than 2 attendants for non self-checkout, I’ve never seen the last checkout station open.

Generally a decent neighborhood QFC, with good fresh foods & produce...but they only ever have one or maybe two human-run cash registers open. This would be fine if the dozen + self-serve registers worked reliably. The club-card system is constantly down, so everyone has to wait on The loan attendant to come to each register and put in a store code so that everyone can at least get their discounts... they are always clueless on how you are supposed to get your fuel points. Even more annoying is the fact that QFC and its sister store Fred Meyer only places in Seattle that don’t take mobile payments such as Apple Pay. They instead try to make you use “Kroger Pay”...which forces you to preload your account like a burner phone...and then collects massive amounts of your shopping and GPS data. Deli and sushi staff are friendly, but clerks are rude.

This medium size QFC is clean and has an attentive staff. I wish they had a slightly larger selection but they've got all the basics.

Several times when I happened to look at the receipt, item that was marked on-sale had a different price. The latest, Happy Eggs. It seems that some items are listed on-sale, but the cashiers don’t know.

Normally not a great place to shop as both staff and customers are quite rude. It is nearby so occasionally I need to pop in for some last minute thing and usually walk out muttering "I hate this store". Today was no exception a male person was there with THREE DOGS, don't get me wrong, I love dogs. I don't believe they should be brought to a public grocery where they can bring fleas (one was itching all the time) and hair to spread where people who may be allergic, or just adverse to hair in their food. Nor should they be crowding aisles, and tripping people with three dogs/leashes out of control and going three different directions. I asked the checker if he was ok with that, all he said was "I'm not the health department". So I reported it to the health department as they clearly don't have any policies in place to prevent this, nor do they care.
