Food and service were great here! I found this doing a quick google search of the surrounding area and this had really high reviews! We got fried green tomatoes, beef ribs, fried Whiting and fried catfish. The flavor of everything was amazing and the server was really patient when we weren't ready to order. Outdoor and indoor seating is available!

Price was moderate and food was filling. If you're savvy you can pick healthy choices... (I know that its hard... but it's possible... ) My server was sweet and attentive. Food came out relatively fast....

This is a hidden gem in the uptown area of Charlotte. My husband and I were visiting the Queen City and walking around when we smelled a heavenly smell. We follow it to Mert’s. An outdoor diner had a table of delicious looking food so we decide to grab a bite to eat. The vibe is relaxing and welcoming. The servers were helpful and answered all of our questions. My husband ordered the salmon cakes with home fries, biscuit, and cheese eggs. I had the banana pudding pancakes! Everything was delicious! So glad we were able to support a local business and will gladly come again when we are in town.

The food was absolutely AMAZING! Great portion sizes and came out piping HOT, just the way I like my food!! I was pleasantly surprised at the short wait time after ordering. Marcus was a cool server and all the staff seem to enjoy what they do and it made for a nice quaint atmosphere! EVERYTIME I visit Charlotte from now on I'll have at least 1 of my meals here!!

Great service, great food and great music! Our waitress was the best! Attentive, helpful and very friendly! I had their famous salmon patties. Good, a bit dry but still good. Music playing was 60/70’s genre. Of course I loved that! Would go back! Nice variety on menu. Banana pudding!! Yes!!! So good and we were told they have a banana pudding cake. Trying that next visit!!
