Mom and pop kind of cafe. Great sandwiches! I love the Reuben. The daily soups are good too. You can sit indoors but I like to take my food to go and sit on the river. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

A little pricey, but so is everything in that area, but a nice stop to grab lunch or desserts. While the tables are on top of each and walking room is tight, you don't really mind it so much because of the beautiful historic building their in. They have an ice cream sandwich to die for. It is two huge homemade chocolate chip cookies with a thick slab of vanilla ice cream between them. It's so big it's hard to get you mouth around it and it was only $4, well worth the money.

You won't regret stopping in here. Don't expect a lot. (Unless you're wet from paddling down the river on a cold day and you want to eat a nice lunch in front of a roaring fire)

A group of us went for the supper club on Saturday evening at 7:00pm. The food was great and our server was warm and friendly. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and “brother Gerald” worked the deli counter. Just a few things that didn’t sit right - the wine glasses are glass, but single use plastic cups for water. The waiter was wearing disposable latex gloves - why? While our bill was being paid, another person came to our table to inform us they were closing soon, which was quite off-putting since we were just waiting for our credit cards to be processed, and it was 8:30pm. So much about this place is good it would be nice to see these things addressed.

Really great service and yummy food. Loved being able to sit outside and enjoy the end of summer while brunching.
