Nate was our server and he was excellent! I would recommend this place to anyone. Delicious food, friendly service, and a wonderful ambiance! We had a big party, and they done an excellent job of ensuring that my family and I were comfortable and happy. I had some family come down from Texas to celebrate an anniversary and birthday and they were very pleased! Please check this restaurant out. One of the few long standing spots left in Charlotte! This place was beyond amazing! I had the Platter with red beans and rice with chicken and catfish! I cant even put in to words the taste. The atmosphere was perfect with jazz playing in the background, I went with friends but this is the perfect date spot. Parking lot is super small but there is plenty street parking and valet if you would like. Overall amazing experience!

The food here is absolutely delicious and did not disappoint in any way! I had the Crawfish Scampi appetizer and the Salmon entree topped with shrimp, artichoke, spinach and mushrooms. Taste bud tantalizing goodness!!! The atmosphere of the antebellum home does not disappoint either. Treat yourself ...you are worth it. :)

THIS PLACE TOPS MY LIST FOR BEST SIGN... What a stand out of a place. Who can pass up that lit sign of an alligator sipping a martini glass. What a crazy cool place. I just want to lounge in the swamp with this alligator and drink martinis with it. What a cool alligator. This alligator is most likely the life of the part when all the other swamp creatures throw keggers. This place is also located in what appears to be an old house. Really cool place.

Sometimes we can go to a restaurant and simply order of the wrong thing. My first experience at this amazing restaurant was actually terrible because I chose to try something new for me and I didn't like it. Fast forward 1 1/2 years and my new experience I'm definitely loved it and I will be back again and again because the food was amazing. The only negative thing I would say is I do not and I mean absolutely do not likes waders for anyone. Reaching over me to grab my glass to refill it without saying excuse me in a very tight spot. Everyone knows how I am about southern hospitality.
