What an amazing discovery. I’m a huge fan of speakeasies and this is one of the best. My advice is to book in advance since it’s small. The waiters and hostess are super knowledgeable about every cocktail they hand made and the selection is fantastic. They give you one hour and 30 minutes which is enough for a couple of cocktails and not getting out of there drunk. Fantastic place.

When a place gives you an hour and a half, you would expect the server to check on you more often. Sadly, when we said we needed more time, it would take ages for him to return. Then queue the long wait for drinks to arrive to the table. The drink menu reads better than the drinks actually are. Oh, but when your time is up, the server definitely has plenty of time to check multiple times if you are ready to pay. Not worth it.

Cool speakeasy with great drinks. Highly recommend it you like fine cocktails. Very dark, but your eyes will adjust. No pictures allowed so sorry I couldn't provide you with any. In the tenderloin so not a good neighborhood but worth the time to check out.

Don't look for a sign. A homeless person will steer you in the right direction. If you have a reservation, ring the bell at the corner and they'll let you in. No reservation? No problem. They'll give you directions and a password. You'll enter a lovely, dimly lit prohibition style speak easy. Cocktails are hand crafted. I can't follow rules, so I took pictures. The space is small, so be prepared to wait and stand. Really well crafted cocktails though. The cucumber gimlet was refreshing and light.

I made a reservation here for a quick night cap after a Giant's game. I overall really enjoyed the experience. I love the idea that phones and photographs are not allowed and the atmosphere was a fun blast from the past, including old timey music. The menu had a ton of choices and I settled on the Frank Lloyd Wright, which I really enjoyed. I think it's worth a visit and wish I had more time to spend while I was there. The only reason I can't give it five stars is the neighborhood in which it's located. I understand they probably can't just pick up and move, but it felt quite uncomfortable walking the mere two blocks from my hotel to come here at night, and they do leave you outside for a few seconds after you provide the password to check the reservation list.
