Your day is at your pace, with no waiting for other passengers as it is your tour if there is something you really want to see Aura will discuss this with you to get it added to your itinerary. With a private tour it allows you to sit back and relax in luxury taking in the stunning landscapes, and if you want to stop you can. Just remember this is Your tour, Your Way!

Your Distillery Tour starts from Glasgow, ensuring a great start your chauffeur will do a full introduction and point out all the on-board facilities in the vehicle. Once the formalities are out of the way they will run through the itinerary for the day and ensure all the passengers are comfortable and answer any questions before departing

Your first stop is Auchentoshan Distillery, located close to Glasgow it is also know as “Glasgow’s Malt Whisky”. Born and rasied in the city and forged in the fires of the industrial revolution and Unusual for a Scottish distillery they practice triple distillation, the process gives the whisky as more delicate sweet flavour. Thier name may be hard to say, but the Whisky is easy to drink. Try their old Scottish favourite of the “Hauf an a hauf” after your tour, from Tasting Tours to Bottling your own there is an expereince for all at Auchentoshan Distillery.

After completing your first distillery you will make your way towards Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, with stops available below remeber this is your tour your way so tell us what you want to experience and we will put together your itinerary;

Loch Lomond: You won’t find a bigger loch or lake in the whole of Britain and you’ll have a hard time finding a more beautiful one, too. Take a cruise on the waters and admire the mighty bulk of Ben Lomond, Scotland’s most southerly Munro, as well as the jagged shoulders of the Arrochar Alps. You could maybe even visit one of the loch’s 30 islands. You might get a surprise when you pass Inchconnachan – those aren’t giant squirrels you can see, but wallabies! The island has had a colony of the Antipodean creatures happily hopping there since the 1940s. At the southern end of the water is Loch Lomond Shores, surely one of the most beautifully situated shopping destinations in Britain. You can browse famous Scottish brands, and pick up some fine local fare.

Falls of Dochart: The beautiful Falls of Dochart run through the small town of Killin, in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Located at the western end of Loch Tay, the famous white waters of the Falls of Dochart can be viewed from the village’s bridge. Admire the misty spray rising in the air as the waters of the river crash into the rocks then flow around the Islands of Inchbuie, known as the traditional and ancient burial place of Clan Macnab.

Loch Earn: Loch Earn is a fresh water loch 17km west of Crieff in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. The loch is the source of the River Earn which eventually joins the River Tay near the village of Bridge of Earn in Perthshire. Loch Earn is also home to the Loch Earn Watersports Centre who offer multiple watersports activities ranging from waterskiing and wakeboarding to kayaking and SUP hire. At 985 m, Ben Vorlich to the south of the loch is a popular climbing spot for visitors due to the spectacular views from the top of Loch Earn and the surrounding national park.

Loch Lubnaig: A small but stunningly located stretch of freshwater nestling between two striking mountains, Ben Ledi and Benvane to the south-west and Ben Vorlich to the north-east. A bird’s eye view of the loch (or take look on a map), reveals how it came by its name, for Lùbnaig means crooked in Gaelic. Unusually for the Highlands, Loch Lubnaig runs north to south, and is more sheltered when winds are blowing along the usual west to eastwards lochs. A stunning place for a walk along the banks and with plenty of opportunities for photos.

Highland Town of Callander: The eastern gateway to the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and is regarded as the “Gateway to the Highlands”. Spend time walking around the town visiting the small shops and sampling local produce, there are plenty of places to have lunch from Tea Rooms to Local Inns there is something for all.

On Leaving Callander you make your way to the second distillery of the tour at Deanston Distillery, enroute we will stop at Doune Castle made famous through the recent Outlander TV Series and Game of Thrones for some photos.

Deanston Distillery is on the banks of the River Teith and started life back in 1785 as a cotton mill until 1966 where it transformed into today’s distillery, the only distillery in Scotland to be self-sufficient in electricity with its power coming from the River Teith. Join their experienced tour guides on a journey through time, taking you back to their past as a cotton mill and through the evolution of Deanston. With tours such as the Tasting Room Tour and the Warehouse Experience that lets you enjoy an exclusive whisky tasting, straight from our casks. Held in a converted old cooperage which now houses some of our maturing whiskies, this is a unique experience you won’t forget. With so many experiences to choose from please use our free itinerary planning service to ensure you have the very best Highland Whisky Experience.

Your tour finishes with all passengers being taken back to their accommodation, the Door to Door experience helps you enjoy the tour without the worry of having too many drams or finding you way back at the end of the day.
