Fascinating idea for a bookshop. Very interesting shopkeeper. The interior is inviting and totally cozy. You find interesting gems of books if you are willing to spend time in having a look around.
Five star review mostly for the ambience and how unique this bookstore is. There's a pretty good selection of different genres, and a section for kids books in the back. Pricing is fairly average, I don't think anything is particularly discounted. The bookstore is a lot bigger than it looks. Once you head down into the boat, there's some seating available. Someone was playing live music on the upper deck when we went, which really helped set the mood. Even though it's in a fairly busy area, there weren't many people in the bookstore.
Interesting little place, next to Coal Drops Yard, with a decent collection of books. The prices are not the best you can find, especially for relatively new books, but it’s worth checking it out. Found a classic book for £10 which I thought it was a fair price. They also have a range of children books. Make sure you go inside the boat too, I almost missed that. :)
Best used book shop ever. Made my last trip to London so memorable. I have never been in a long boat before... I kinda want to live in this magical place. Anyhoooo, contented myself with buying a book that proved most unusual and interesting. Next time I am in London I will be back.
A bookshop on a boat? Beautiful idea, beautifully done. Very good book selection in tranquil, reader-friendly surroundings on the Regent Canal. I love this place.
