On entering the inner court yard, you're greeted by natural light through the frosted transparent roof. The lobby is cavernous and airy. It thus sets you in the mood to embark on an exciting journey through time. There's no entrance fee. But, please be generous ya. Give at least £5 as donation and £2 for the map. Come on, you can do that! Live guide and Audio guide are available. Ask at information. Exhibits are arranged according to certain periods and beautiful laid out! So much history! I came away knowing so much stuff. My favourite exhibits are the pastries laid out invitingly at the Museum's cafe!

Good size, peaceful and including a workout station plenty of activities for adults and kids. Good parking facilities, few restaurants nearby. Very close to Newbury Park Tube station. Worth of a visit with your family or your own.Great swift service. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is really tasty. I recommend the prawns. The restaurant is clean and comfortable.

Love this museum. The building's architecture itself is magnificent. The main hall with its glass ceiling is impressive especially on a bright day. The content itself is fascinating. Lots to see so take your time and plan a good few hours just to run through some of the sections. You won't be able to see it all in one day. In any case, make sure you see the Rosetta Stone!

The British Museum is very interesting (if you like that kinda stuff). Definitely rich in history from various periods (though I didn't get to see all). As a main London attraction, you can expect many visitors there eager to see the Rosetta Stone etc., but it's a good experience.

Simply astounding!! Having visited this absolutely incredible "Museum of, and, for the World" semi-regularly since 1971, I am still "gobsmacked" by its collection of 8+ million objects, covering about 2 million years. One might think that many visits allow one to cover the 907,000 ft 2 (or, about 19 acres)- containing the many exhibits. What is also amazing is that the "price of admission" has not risen over this period... and, is still FREE! There is nothing like it anywhere... and, in order to appreciate it, I suggest focusing on a subject that is of greatest interest... and then asking the information folks where this could be found! If one chooses not to pay it a visit... the visit to London will be "shortchanges"! It has also received TripAdvisor's most coveted "Traveller's Choice" designation (based on the reviews and "feedback" from travelers like you and I). I hope that this Review has been helpful.
