Wonderful place. So much to see and take in. Great view from the top of the dome, although it fair near killed me getting up there. Well worth it though. The video installation art at the rear of the cathedral really made me stop to think. Very powerful and in no way an intrusion in such a space. You could spend all day in there. You can book a tour which I would recommend: There is an audio/visual tour which is free of charge but there is so much information it is hard to get your head around it. I think the tour would give a visit some focus. You could always have a wander round after. I also advise visitors to go early so that at least part of the visit could be crowd free, relatively speaking. There is a nice little souvenir shop and cafe in the crypt. The highlight of my visit to London.

It's an amazing building. Huge, imposing and beautiful. I've got some good photos there of the building and candid street shots. Never been in, I refuse to pay those prices but outside is impressive enough. Look down as well, on the ground is a plan of the old layout with a history lesson too. Interesting. If you fancy a bite to eat there is a Paul's trendy bakery right by the main entrance or if you fancy something a little more affordable and satisfying, a short walk down the road on the right is the Ye Old London pub. They do a great fish and chips.

Really special part of London, it’s a huge place and you get to escape the busyness of the city. You can queue or pre book (cheaper) and you have a small security check before you go in. There were lots of school visits when we went but plenty of room to get out of their way. There are audio guides supplied. Remember to be respectful when the service begins, be quiet. If you walk downstairs it is actually very warm, which is where you found the cafe, gift shop and toilets. You must visit the stone gallery but beware; there are over 500 steps! This is very tiring regardless of your fitness level, just take your time and you’ll get there eventually. If you up the narrower steps you can’t go back, just up and forwards, so keep that in mind. Once you get to the stone gallery you get to have great views of the London skyline. The golden circle is the better view, to get there you have to climb a spiral staircase, which is a challenge for those with issues with height. You can see the top of the dome from this point, it’s really something. Eventually you get to the golden circle and it’s great, take your time, make videos and photos and take it all in. Coming down is much quicker than going up.

Truly a marvel for all to see. No matter who you are, your background, or personality, etc, it's a lovely place to visit and appreciate from a historical and architectural point of view. The place is majestic. As you walk through you do really appreciate everything that went into the place. I recommend for anyone in the area checking this place out for sure.

St. Paul's Cathedral is located on the northern side of the Millennium Bridge. I got there by getting off at the St. Paul Station and then head south. St Paul's Cathedral is an Anglican Church and is a cathedral as it's the seat of the Bishop of London. This cathedral is featured in the "opening of the movie, "Fast and Furious Presents Hobbs and Shaw". The most prominent feature of the cathedral is the Baroque-styled Dome, which was designed by Sir Christopher Wren.
