W Carriage Dr, London W2 2AR, UK
My friend and I stumbled across this peaceful and memorable venue. We were looking for the main Serpentine Gallery but it turned out that this current exhibition was the one which by chance had us as audience also left us with some very poignant thought provoking and appreciative memories from an artist we had no idea or knowledge of prior to these magical moments. May her work and memory live on forever. May I also commend the lovely young gallery assistant for her time and professionalism... 💃🤗
It's a small gallery but a lovely one none less. Located in the heart of the park, it's a great place for a 30min browse and use of the toilets before going back to a picnic in the park or a wander. There is a good bookshop/gift shop in the gallery (a real must for any art gallery these days)
Amazing! It is small but the exhibition is truly inspiring. Love it!
Upon arriving the staff member pulled us aside and told us off in front of other visitors, saying to be careful in the gallery and not to be violent as the art is delicate. We in no way displayed any potential for violence. We watched as others entered and nobody else got told off. We've been to galleries a million times (zzz tbh) and never done anything wrong. In my opinion this staff member was racist, I don't see any other reason for the condescending manner...
This was a lovely and very friendly. Well worth the walk too and very bright with the way they have set it up
Sharing is caring!
