Kensington Gardens, London W2 3XA, UK
I came across this gallery while walking through Kensington garden. There was an interesting exhibition so I spend around an hour in there. The staff were helpful and informative. Also it was a hot day I spent walking outdoors so the AC in the gallery was refreshing.
Lovely Venue, in a lovely setting. Not a huge space but large enough to move around easily and see amazing art. Went to see Faith Ringgold, 89 years young from US and has lived so her work reflects much of what she has seen & experienced. So worth a visit
Beautiful place! Free entrance (at least for the exhibits I went to). This October's exhibit was incredible - Albert Oehlen
Attended the exhibition of Faith Ringgald's oft credited work which was well worth the visit. This artists work is fascinating, powerful and continues to have resonance, in our times Recommend going back on a weekday when perhaps not quite so crowded. Staff friendly and awesome that there is no charge at this gallery. Contributions should be encouraged and are welcomed.
Lovely gallery in Kensington gardens. Saw the Faith Ringgold exhibition here which was great. Good bookshop on site for books on art and artist biographies.
