Amazing old bookstore that has kept up with the times. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It has all the various books you would require and if not available nearly everything can be ordered. The store is very beautiful and very quiet, especially for its location in the centre of London. I would recommend going here, even if you would just love to have look around or browse for inspiration. If you are ever near, it is a must visit!
I haven't been here before but it is a very interesting collection of books in store. Many books caught my eye that I haven't seen in other bookshops. I will return.
A destination. Since 1797 with all its old world charm intact. And the team - helpful, cheery and passionate with what they do.
always a pleasure, how staff have an encyclopedia of book titles in their heads I dont know. I found your always pointed in the right direction and if they don't know of a book you're looking for then they're most helpful to better your chances of getting that book. I bought the "INDIA Cookbook" which was actually cheaper than buying it online. I've also bought "teach yourself French", both products are great, not that they made them but they're in perfect condition and the service is also great as I said earlier.
I always loved reading books and this place has lots of them! There are so many titles available and the staff are so friendly. Although this bookstore is one of the oldest in London, it's improving each and every year. This is one of my favourite places in London!
