Beautiful castle and grounds. Our tour guide was amazing ... I've never heard anyone speak as smoothly and fluently as a tour guide! Not that I'm into battle paraphernalia so much, but the armor room was very impressive and interesting. The gardens were my favorite and offered wonderful views of the castle for photographs. Definitely a 5-star stop.

A lot of interesting artifacts, artwork and history here. My favorite part was definitely wandering the gardens and woods on the grounds. Beautiful!

A pretty interesting castle though the internal self-guided tour is not particularly long. However, the view of the castle and Loch from the folly on the hill behind the castle is truly superb.

How could I have missed this gem! What a reminder of the amazing history of our country. Great idea having the quiz for kids, kept ours entertained allowing us to just be awed.
