Þórey Jóna Guðjónsdóttir

Coming to (N)Iceland?

In the winter time we might only have a few hours of sunlight but don't panic, we have the Northern Lights, the Blue lagoon and the best tap water in the world! Here are some of my top favourites things to do in Iceland.

Renting Your Own Car

Exploring on your own is always a good idea. Pack your warm clothes, food and go find some adventures! Just make sure to hold your car firmly door when you open them in a windy weather.

Hot Springs & Swimming Pools

Hot springs and swimming pools are THE thing to do in Iceland. Sitting in a warm, cosy hot tub when it is snowing around you is the best feeling ever! Make sure to try at least one of each!

Airport Transfer

No car? No problem! Just remember Keflavik Airport is 40 minutes away from Reykjavík so it might be a little too far to go by foot :) Here you can find the best deals for airport shuttles, just select your pick up/dropoff place and you are good to go!

Budget Friendly

Traveling on a budget? Here you can find all about how to stretch your dollar in Iceland and some amazing experiences under $100.

Do it on your own or get a guided experience, hiking in Iceland is one of the best ways to experience the amazing nature we have!
