My wife and I heard about this place from Kara and Nate, the travel YouTube couple. We had very high expectations and we were blown away by the quality of the food, the presentation and the taste. We both had the Khao Soi with pork and a Thai milk tea to cool down our palette from the spirit dish. 100% recommend everyone that comes to Chiang Mai tries this place, the staff were fast and very friendly! Also a great ice cream place next door!

Excellent Khao Soy Gai dish! Simple, fresh and delicious. This Northern Thai noodle dish is mildly spicy and packed with flavour. Come early before 11am for the first seating to avoid the line ups. Order at your table and submit your order to the staff Thai ice tea is refreshing too. There is free drinking water as well.

I love this place and eat lunch here a couple times a week. Their specialty is Kao Soy, as the name suggests, and it's the best in town. The broth is always strong and sharp, never oily or flat like some other places, and the crunchy noodles are never soggy, with a standard-sized chicken leg. They don't have hard boiled eggs, since they seem to be dedicated to consistently serving perfect kao soy, no frills. 1 order - 45 baht. They are a daytime place only, closing at 4 PM, and are quite popular with the locals. There are usually 5 or 6 Grab or Food Panda drivers waiting to pick up food, and they often walk out with 10 or 15 orders at once, probably for some office or construction site lunch. The "decor" is also no-frills, because again, the focus is on perfect food. Midday, when it's super busy, you can write your order and table number on a slip of paper and put it on the spindle by the cooks at the center. They will bring you your food, but are usually too busy to take orders at the table like a regular restaurant. [They'll do it to be polite, but make it easy on them and do the spindle thing]. They have a few other dishes, but I've never tried them. Free ice water, closed on Sundays.

Best restaurant we ate at for local Thai food in Chiang Mai. The prices are so cheap and the taste of the food is amazing. They have a small menu but it’s basically everything you would be looking for on a Thai menu if you want noddles and soups. The service was great and all of the employees are really friendly and helpful if you have questions.

The Khao Soy is great. But I tried the spicy pork noodle and wasn't a huge fan. The broth was delicious but the pork was overly gelatinous. I would definitely come back for the Khao Soy. Their iced coffee is pretty bad. The place is always busy which is a good sign.
