Museo del Ferrocarril, Paseo de las Delicias, 61, 28045 Madrid, Spain
Great place where to spend a day. There are many craft sellers with various items for various purposes. The things they sell are gorgeous. You can also find curious gourmet food, like specialty salts, spices, delicious cookies and desserts, cheeses and jams. There's a bit of everything. Our favorite section is the food trucks and we keep on coming back for wagyu burgers- absolutely delicious! Besides all of that you can explore the trains and that's awesome!
The experience of seeing old trains and the getting an idea of what it was like to travel back in those days, it's fine. However, not much to see. Unless you are really passionate about trains, one can walk around pretty quickly. I think on Sundays there are food trucks in that back of the building and there's a market for old stuff on one side outside the building. In my opinion, it's fine for one visit.
Great venue, great space to have a cold beer and some food while shopping for sunglasses to bikes, all while listening to live music :) & lots of shade on a hot summers day!
A great way to spend a day in/out.
A beautiful day in the market!
