Can't meet demand. No power when we got there, lifts not working, mega long queues for ticket office. Not good.
Probably a good place to learn how to ski, however the terrain is not challenging at all. We were there on the 23, thru the 25th of January (2020) that week they had a big dump of snow so we decided to go early to avoid te weekend crowds. When we got there only 1/2 of the resort was open, they claimed that due to avalanche danger they would not open the top, however we could see that the top of the resort had been groomed and was certainly skiable, most if not all of the top runs are under 25 degrees, so mainly red runs. It is obvious that the resort management does not have a clue as to how to run a ski resort and don´t have the needed expertise to conduct proper avalanche control, maybe they were trying to save some snow for later in the season, but is ridiculous to have a bigs snow season and close the best runs because of incompetence. On Saturday we decided not to ski and by 10:30 in the morning all the lifts were out of power and people had to be unloaded .... Will not go back again, there are other resorts close by (not Masella, they do the same thing) which offer better terrain and is opened to skiers. If you are a serious skier this resort is not for you.
Beautiful place for skiing, need signe boards in English.
Came here for downhill mountain biking 🚵♀️ I’m a beginner and did a forward flip off my bike I the first 2 mins 😂 It hurt but was superb. The Adventure park is also fun I’ll be returning in a few days to try out the Red course ( the hardest) and hopefully it’s fun and long.
I was lucky, caught good powdery snow
