Wonderful place, worth every penny. Walk along the river to the waterfall, very relaxing and calming. Nature is breathtaking. Approximately 15 min by car from Bled, parking 5 euros and admission ticket 10 euros.

Amazing location but you need to go early. After reading other reviews we dragged ourselves out of bed with our 3 year old and 9 month old arriving at 7.30am. On the route out it was quiet and we were able to walk at a leisurely pace and stop when wanted to take photos. It's a really beautiful spot and glad we did it. Nice cafe at the end and also a lovely waterfall to see. On the return journey it was getting busy. Narrow paths made difficult by people blocking paths to take photos and some ignorant people barging past people with children. When we arrived back at the car park it was very busy and there were queues for tickets. It was only 10am. I will get very busy after then. Costs €10 each, €1 for children and then it's €5 to park. Go early then enjoy the rest of your day stress free!

Meander through the amazing natural wonder that is Vintgar gorge and admire the pools, jumps and rapids while following the river along its course through the gorge. Allow at least 1h30 to complete the circuit which is easy and mostly flat; proper footwear is recommended. Make sure to remain on the footpath to preserve this site's natural beauty.

I've been to a lot of beautiful places around the world. This place is one of the most beautiful places I've been to! I recommend to go early to avoid crowds to get good photos. Rain or shine, it's a good place to go. Well maintained trails and boardwalks.

A beautifully presented and preserved piece of nature. The water is crystal clear and moves from slower through faster to slower segments, culminating in a waterfall. Bring a moderately warm jacket. At the end (or start, depending on where you're coming from) you'll find a wooden shield pointing to Bled. Go there through the forest to find a small church and restaurant, then follow the path west through a small gate to find a beautiful view over the valley and towards the castle of Bled (which, sadly, blocks the view on the lake). Continuing further, you'll end up back at the parking place at the start (or end) of the gorge.
