Wanted to Vintgar Gorge in Early March yet it was closed. The website recommended this spot instead. Not beautiful. When we arrived we could barely see a person. There was a smell. Many little rocks on the road which was not good. We decided to leave soon. I think Vintgar Gorge would be nicer.

Absolutely worth to visit. Prepare with good boots as the trails are muddy and full of stones on some parts. Most people just visits the gallery but if you walk forward a bit more, there is an other path coming back right on the top side of the gorge. It is a nice path with a bit of climbing up and down. You will go through a natural bridge over the gorge you will see where you walked under your feet. The path arrives back just under the galleries.

Worth a visit. Not for the faint of heart or the poorly shod but truly beautiful and uncrowded. The road in is basically one lane, if I come again I’ll park about a kilometer out and walk to the trail head.

Beautiful place and walk. The path is very rough in some places so make sure to have good footing. Approaching in the opposite direction from Zatrnik, it's very hard to find the actual trails down the gorge. Sign posts should be added and moved to the actual junctions.

A pretty good hike. Currently there is no river flowing through but it's worth the visit nonetheless. Good hiking shoes are necessary because it can be steep and rocky sometimes. It takes around 2 hours to do this trip.
