Calçada da Ajuda, 1300-011 Lisboa, Portugal
I love this place! Close to the touristy places, but quiet and relatively unknown. Lots of bushes and exotic trees. A part of the garden is reserved for aromatic plants, I love smelling those. The views over the river (bridge and statue of the Christ) are stunning, and there are peacocks roaming the place, both regular peacocks and white ones.
Vary very quiet and peaceful place, I went on Sunday afternoon and there was maybe 15 people in the same time. Nice for a short walk around, some interesting plants although some of them not very well maintained. Entry is 2€ for adults I would recommend to visit, it's worth the price.
It is a nice little botanical garden and the entrance fee is 2€ for an adult and 1€ for students, that is OK. But it is not a educational botanical garden. Not that many interesting plants. But a nice spot to sit on a bench in the green.
It would have been much better if the garden was well-maintained. A lady started asking people to leave even when it's still another half hour before closing time. A beautiful and tranquil place nevertheless.
This is a wonderful place to relax. It's not very touristy but it's an absolute must see. The garden is very well maintained and it's very quiet and peaceful here. The price for entry is very generous. If you're looking for some relaxation and fresh air, this is definitely the place to be.
