Estrada do Cabo da Roca s/n, 2705-001 Colares, Portugal
Such a beautiful place; this is the most European land edge! Than the Atlantic Ocean starts. Beautiful views of Ocean from Hill side, small stone beach down of the hills, need to go down by tracking; Beautiful Light house & easy access by road. Parking, Restaurant, Coffee shop. Happy Traveling :)
Interesting as it is the most western spot of Europe. Other than that - pretty view of the ocean and some small paths to walk around. Quite windy and as expected, too many tourists. Would recommend going a bit further north, the beaches are beautiful and the views are awesome.
Claimed to be the westernmost point of Europe, I loved the landscape with multicolored shrubs in autumn colors and rugged cliffs standing steeply by the Atlantic ocean. The view on the horizon is amazing esp at sunset with varied hues from time to time. It is very windy and gets quite chilly.
Rented a scooter to go from Lisbon to Cabo da Roca and was not disappointed - the N6 roads are smooth and the ride is scenic. This is the most Western part of Europe and extremely gorgeous. Really enjoyed our time here, it was quite windy though so don’t spend so much time doing your hair before!
You must not miss this if you're around. Worth every minute of your life, 2x the minutes if you enjoy hiking and cliffs + ocean. Unfortunately we only spent a couple of hours there which is a painfully short time. You need one day only to make plans for a week of exploring the place. Really recommend it, this place will take you to another dimension
