A great escape right in the heart of Lisbon and at an incredibly low price. I recommend going on a hot day when you need a bit of rest from the sun and some shade. I also recommend going early so that you can buy the ticket together with the museum and visit that. The garden is not that big so you can easily do it all. A good alternative is taking a book to sit down and take your time.

Thought it was a beautiful, well kept and well laid out garden! Some impressive specimens including a large Dragon Tree that I hung out with for a bit. Small bamboo sections were also really cool. Museum was also worth the trip and was more expansive than it seems at first. Great chill 👍🇵🇹

I've read in other commentsections that this place is bit lost place like. and yeah I understand why but this is exactly what give it the perfect charm. it's amazing how old this garden and the surrounding houses are and how perfect they match together, witch feeling they create by walking trough the garden ....mystical I totally enjoyed the 3 hours holiday from the loud city and had the chance to find a place for inner peace

Great neighborhood restaurant and wine bar. They really made us feel at home and got to meet many of the customers. Food, wine, atmosphere and owner's were all excellent.
