3-Day Tour To Cusco And Machu Picchu

Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL TO CUSCO - CITY TOUR

Stop At: Cusco

• After picking you up at your point of arrival, we'll welcome to the city of Cusco, after which you'll have the morning free to get settled.

• In the afternoon, we will take the city tour, which visits locations such as the famous Qoricancha that was (during the ancient times of the Incanato) a place of adoration to the god Inti (sun).

• Afterwards, we will continue with the visit by heading to Sacsayhuaman, a place that was once considered a ceremonial fortress. Finally, we will visit Qenqo, Tambomachay and Pucapucara.

• We will finish the tour taking you to your respective hotel.

• No meals included on this day.

Day 2: VISIT TO THE INCA CITADEL OF MACHU PICCHU

Stop At: Machu Picchu

This day, we will start by waking up very early to go to the Ollantaytambo train station via local bus, after which we'll take a train into the town of “Aguas Calientes”. From here, it's one more short ride to the world famous Machu Picchu.

• Our guide will provide you with all the information on the site during a 2-hour guided tour to learn about this historical sanctuary in all its splendor. Then, you will have time to tour the ruins on your own and take a few photos.

• After the ruins, we will return to “Aguas Calientes” to have lunch.

• Finally, you'll take the train back to Ollantaytambo, after which you'll be taken to Cusco to finally leave you at your hotel.

Day 3: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

• Starting day 3, you'll enjoy some free during the morning hours, before we transfer you to your point of departure.
