Your tour starts in Lima, where you'll board our private vehicle for your road journey to Paracas. Once in Paracas, you will board our shared speedboat to begin your adventure to the stunning Ballestas Islands. On the way, you will stop at the Paracas Peninsula to see the enigmatic figure of the Candelabro, a stunning design drawn on the side of a hill in the Peninsula. Nobody knows for sure who did it or why, although there are many hypotheses regarding its origin. Some believe it is related to the Nazca Lines, although as of yet, there's little evidence to support this hypothesis.
Afterwards, we'll head to Ballestas Island, a scenic area filled with birds and sea lions. Here you will visit the three islands at a safe distance, also navigating into some caves provided the weather permits it.
On your return to the port, you will board our vehicle to drive towards the Paracas Natural Reserve. During your tour, you will learn about Paracas Reserve by visiting the interpretation center, an interesting building that displays photos & information about all of the fauna & flora found in the region.
Afterwards, we will drive throughout a lifeless desert until we reach an area where a great natural rock formation known as the Cathedral once stood. Unfortunately, this old formation did not withstand the 2007 earthquake. After checking the Cathedral out, you'll visit the Playa Roja and Lagunillas beaches for some refreshments.
