If you’re landing at San Martin Port, don’t miss this chance to see the Ballestas Islands and their native wildlife. Observe penguins, sea lions, dolphins, and more during this short excursion that also includes the famous Candelabra geoglyph, believed to be part of the mysterious Nazca Lines.
Stop At: Islas Ballestas, Paracas, Ica Region
You'll meet with our guide at 9:15 am, after which you'll be transferred to the town of Paracas. here, you'll board a speedboat with the other tour guests, and head over the water towards the stunning Ballestas Island.
On the way, you will stop at the Paracas peninsula to see the enigmatic figure of the Candelabro, a stunning design drawn on the side of a hill in the Peninsula. Nobody knows for sure who did it or why, although there are many hypotheses regarding its origin. Some believe it is related to the Nazca Lines, but as of yet, no evidence has been found to support these claims.
Afterwards, you'll head off to your final destination: Ballestas Island. Here, you'll see a stunning world filled with birds and sea lions. You'll also visit the three islands at a distance, & navigate into some offshore caves, provided the weather & waves permit it.
