The Paracas Peninsula and Ballestas Islands are just a short trip from Pisco, but they feel a world away. Get a chance to see an enigmatic prehistoric design drawn into the side of a hill, along with the opportunity to do some wildlife spotting, including animals like sea lions & penguins.
The tour starts with pickup from your hotel in Pisco & a transfer to the Marina Turistica, where you'll board our speedboat to begin your adventure to the stunning Ballestas Islands.
On the way, you’ll stop at the Paracas Peninsula to see the enigmatic figure of the Candelabro, a stunning design drawn on the side of a hill in the Peninsula. Nobody knows for sure who did it or why, although there are many hypotheses regarding its origin. Some believe that it's related to the Nazca Lines, but as of yet, no evidence has been found to support those claims.
Next, you'll head off to Ballestas Island, where you will enjoy a stunning world filled with birds and sea lions. You'll navigate around the islands at a distance, and (weather permitting) check out a few caves.
At the end of the tour, you will be returned to the port and then transferred back to Pisco's main square, where the service ends.
