Marlou:My forever favorite, Fuglen is located in the middle of the city and filled with vintage treasures (that you can buy if you want!). What you should buy though is a coffee - or hot chocolate, their hot chocolate is amazing as well, and their cocktails as well, honestly - and a cinnamon bun. They're the biggest, best smelling ánd best tasting in Oslo.

Akerselva

Marlou:Ok - this is a bit of nature in the heart of the city, aka the loveliest Sunday stroll. Take a bus to Arendalsgata and start walking down, next to the river, from there. Tip: I prefer the left side.

Brekkedammen

Marlou:Almost on top of Akerselva river, this little swimming area is my favorite in the city!

Ekebergparken

Marlou:A forest, sculpture park and maybe the place with the best (public) view in the city - all at the same time. From here you get to see the city, the forest and the fjord at once, all of Oslos best!

Gressholmen

Marlou:One of the islands in the Oslo fjord, about 20 minutes by boat from Rådhusplassen. My favorite - because of the cute (views on) cabins, the little mountain top from Heggholmen and because of Gressholmen Kro, where you can get great food (and ice cream).

Hovedøya

Marlou:The closest island in the Oslo fjord, easily reachable by boat from Rådhusplassen (for free if you have a travel ticket!). There's nice little walks to go for and lots of perfect places for grilling and swimming.

Sognsvann

Marlou:A rather flat but fun ± 1 hour walk around the lake, pretty all year long! Perfect for ice skating (when frozen) or swimming (when warm enough), too.

Vettakollen

Marlou:Rather easy little hike, about 20 minutes of climbing rocks from Vettakollen T-bane (metro stop), with a great view.

Oslo Winter Park

Marlou:Yes! You can go skiing and snowboarding in this city, only a subway ride away. Not the biggest mountains or most fun slopes, but very much okay if you enjoy winter sports like I do.
