Amazing trek of 14km from lower parking Try to start as early as possible. If you are going in or after April you don’t need guide there will be people groups you can follow them. Warm snow shoes water proof must be recommended, don’t take any risk with stupid shoes

The Trolltunga hike is a pretty good one. You will see different kinds of nature on your way up. Me and a friend walked up 4h and down 3,5h. Sadly we had a rainy day but that doesn’t matter because the view is stunning anyway. I Recommend to take enough equipment (water, food, clothes ...) with you. The hike is 13km up and 13km down. But like I said, the view is worth it. You should also calculate time on the top if you leave to late. There will be more people than you might think. To get a picture on the Trolltunga you might need to wait 20minutes until the people bevor you are done. But everything is civilized up there. Everyone we met were pretty nice and friendly. I would recommend to hike either up at round about 6am from the Parking lot 2 or even better hike up around noon and than stay a night up there to enjoy the sunset and sunrise.

This is the one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and in terms of scenery the hike is my favorite. The only downside is the sheer amount of people, however the hike is strenuous enough that everyone shares comradery in the beauty of the place.

This place is just awesome. I was so blown away by that view. It was just amazing. You should go in september like I did to avoid too many people.

A really gorgeous hike with the most incredible views. It is not an easy hike, so a bit of preparation beforehand is advised. Wear good hiking boots, and bring enough food and snack and water. In the summer months, there is a bus you can take from the middle parking that brings you to the start of the trail - would definitely recommend this!
