Finnegården 1A, 5003 Bergen, Norway
Nice place to visit. How great is the guide depends on your luck. We got Hilde and she was amazing
The museum is closed for the next several years for some fairly complicated renovations. However this is not mentioned anywhere on the website. Ticket prices also continue to be the same. Hence my three stars. The Schotsteune is open and definitely worth a visit. Be sure to check out the kitchen area - really well done.
Really well set out museum with an excellent tour.
The museum is closed until 2024 but they are still selling tickets to a re-creation of the Schotsuene, which would be interesting to check out if it was free. The exhibit took about 10 minutes to walk/read through. There’s a lot of abstract stuff involved like a room with a bunch of cabbage heads that have paper flags stuck in displaying existential questions.
Main interesting part closed, and prices rises higher than indicated in the travel guide with around +50 % inflation ! For a wikipedia guited tour, no thanks !
