Universitetsgata 2, 0164 Oslo, Norway
Great coffee but what I liked the most was the atmosphere and interior. There was a really nice vibe. Don't go here to get a quick coffee. They take their time to prepare so relax and enjoy the coffee. The scones are served without jelly or butter so they are a bit dry. Great place to visit!
I’m currently living in Tokyo and there is a Fuglen there, so I really wanted to come to Fuglen in Oslo. It was certainly not disappointing! The coffee was lovely and the decor and atmosphere was perfect. It reminded me of the one in Tokyo :)
Amazing cocktails. Slow service, but they’re upfront about it (they’re taking their time making the cocktails). Loving the design.
I had driven by this place more times then I would like to admit and every time I would think to myself "I really need to get coffee there sometime". But the timing was never there, I was either on my way somewhere or just not in that part of Oslo. So a friend of mine "forced" me to have coffee there as he had heard me say I wanted to try that place like a thousand times. So we both went in and ordered ourselves some coffee, him a regular black coffee and me a double mocca (I don't really drink black coffee, but an espresso drink oh my God yes). And I was pleasantly surprised, my mocca had a good balance between the chocolate and the espresso and my friend thought his coffee was one of the better coffee's he's tried. So if you're in the area and the urge for coffee comes over you, drop by and enjoy.
A coffee place with a nicely decorated (some say chic.. albeit kind of old) interior... With jazz quiet mood music. Ordered a single caffe latte... Like all caffe lattes it was nice. Has alcoholic drinks as well. Nothing above extraordinary... Nothing bad either.
