Very nice aquarium with a big variety of different fish. There was a place for kids where they could touch starfish and small crabs. Aside from sea and freshwater animals, there were reptiles, monkeys and spiders. Big variety of those as well. If you are gonna be there for a while I recommend to check out the penguin presentation, where they feed the penguins, weigh the children and provide information about the race of penguins they have. I personally have not seen the feeding of the otters, but heard it was fun to look at. Then, the best part of all was the sea lion presentation. It was fun to hear about and watch the sea lion doing tricks. During the presentations, the person with the megaphone will speak both English and Norwegian. The food here, is not worth the price. Consider bringing your own food and snacks. Overall it was a nice place to be.

As a Norwegian, I love that the aquarium has this well of species and information from our own marine environment. And then you get a lot from the exotic world in addition. It seems to me "the locals" have optimal habitats, each with their particular needs taken into account.

Don't miss the penguin presentation / feeding!! Loads of rain was pouring yet we could hardly pull ourselves away from just watching and hearing about these very cute animals from the guide. The aquarium itself is a fun visit and features a big variety of fish, marine life, reptiles, aquatic life from warm / cold regions. Information is available also in English and made it easy for us to follow. There is a cafe for a snack and a restaurant for bigger meals. Well planned building and interesting walkthrough on each level. Restrooms located at several areas so no need to waste time in queues.

It was amazing, in all the aquariums you could see other fish. All the fish was in their natural habitat. For example, in the aquarium for deep sea fish it was darker and there was a old ship that had sunk. Outside there were pinguïns and sea lions, the sea lions swim right before your eyes. I really enjoyed my day.

Great aquarium! The sea lion show was terrific. Good variety of animals on exhibit, outside and inside. Nice educational resources about pollution and sustainable aquaculture. Great experience for the price and plenty there to entertain everyone, young and old.
