One of the very best hostels I have stayed in. Barbara and Roman (owners) gave expert advice for things to do and places to go on the island and elsewhere in Nicaragua. They are also very well connected on the island and partner with only professional, reputable companies for bike/ATV rentals and tours. The food/drinks at the hostel are very tasty using many ingredients that they grow onsite, or source locally. Loved staying here!

The hosts are experts at helping you make the most of your time. They lay out all of the options for adventures along with their own recommendations. Our private room came with towels, shampoo, and bar of soap! Dinner breakfast and drinks were all spectacular, with convenience of a tab. They know everyone on the island! When we tried to pay at el bamboo (restaurant halfway across the island), but realized we forgot our wallet, the owners contacted via phone and sorted it out with no problems. +hitchhikers guide to the galaxy + traditional Czech food +stargazing +cute dogs +endless stories. Even if you stay somewhere else, at least visit for dinner. 100/100

Love this Hostel , been twice already and we are coming back... easy car rental from the Managua airport, scenic ride to Granada to visit and continue on to Ometepe , ferry ride from Rivas with the car to the island and to the hostel Life is Good. Set perfectly in the outskirts of Moyogalpa, still close to everything. Roman and Barbara are awesome hosts , the hostel is clean and fun to visit, drinks and food are handcrafted, fresh produce, home made products, very affordable vacation with endless memories!!!!! Friendly to all ages. My first time was SOLO female traveler and I felt totally safe and loved the trips, even hubby did the next time we went. Totally doable without a car , busses will take you to Rivas . Best part ... in about 1.5hrs from U.S. you find yourself in a different world that’s organic, people are nice and laid back... perfect vacation in my book !!! 5 stars all the way !!!

Great owners Roman and Barbara! Also they have a new addition to their family little Rambo, a cute dog!! The are the best owners and really make you feel at home. The food here is amazing the best In Nicaragua
