Castle Hill, a beautiful nature you must not miss. You will find this place on your way to Arthur's Pass. The natural rock formations are a wonder. You will find people spend the whole day at rocks. Very beautiful in summer. These photos from December 2018.

Beautiful free hike! Pretty steep in places but doable for most with some breaks!

A beautiful place to come to whether you want to go for a wee walk, do bouldering, spend hours taking photos or just soak up the energy of this place as it is quite spiritual. After driving past many times on my way to the West Coast I finally went specifically to see Castle Hill and I'm sure I'm gonna be back.
