Everest Base Camp trek via Salleri is a trek through a lesser known trail explored by very few trekkers and has only recently been opened to the public. It's a wonderful trek to the base camp, due to the untouched scenery & landscape that surrounds you.
The Everest Base Camp Trek via Salleri is the less explored trail to reach the Everest Base Camp. In this trek, we follow the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay who summited Mount Everest in 1953 for the first time.
Instead of the typical arrival in Lukla via airplane, you'll instead drive to Salleri. We'll go for a sightseeing tour of some UNESCO-listed world heritage sites in Kathmandu and relax for a night before driving to Salleri.
On Day 3, we drive from Kathmandu to Salleri for 8 hours and begin trekking from there. Along the way, there is a chance to soak up some local food and culture, after which you'll get to sleep in traditional, warm, and friendly tea houses run by Sherpa families.
After getting to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar we'll walk back downhill and fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu.
