Mandala Street, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal
For vege lovers, this is a good place. But don't expect a lot of Nepali food. It's mostly middle Eastern, far Eastern styled food. But the place is excellent. Lively and nice. Not very expensive.
It's a great place for any kind of meal. I always come here specially for the ZURI CAKE. I love looking at their menu. It's psychedelic and handmade. I ordered white pasta once, didn't like it. Wouldn't recommend you that. Otherwise their cold coffee is great and other dishes too.
The place has a nice selection of food from different kitchens, the atmosphere is nice as well. The problem we encountered was that while we were eating (at 20:30) the waiter suddenly gave us the bill.. this situation was a bit strange because we weren't in a hurry and by giving us the bill in the middle of us having a talk he sort of forced us to start preparing to leave.. it wouldn't be so strange if he told us politely that they are closing or something(which is absolutely legit), but he just put the bill on the table silently and walked away. We actually holding ourselves not to give a smaller score just because of our respect to the sheer amount of different healthy meals the place provide and a very special atmosphere. we really hope that this was a one time accident.
Was quite disappointed with my vegan breakfast which consisted of a chickpea omelet which was dry and had no flavour, small portion of tahini and salad was without dressing, 2 pieces of plain toast with no spread. This dish could defiantly be improved, very dry and flavourless! Coffee was good, interior and atmosphere was nice!
I love their zuri cake and pizza. Thai is also a good place for vegetarian and vegan food. The ambience is really good and a fun place to even sit and work or read.
