Good cave. Inside the falling of drops of water is beautiful. The way through the cave is adventurous.
It's not a very deep cave. Looks pleasing from outside but is not at all properly maintained. Totally a commercialised tourist spot. They charge around 50 NPR for the locals and 150 NPR at the entry which is according to me not at all worth it. The entry is easy but the exit is narrow so it may be a little difficult for few to actually come out from the exit point.
Seems like a man-made cave. They are charging for it but not maintaing it properly. Watch your step as the floor is slippery. And of course there are plenty of mosquitoes outside of the cave to keep you entertained.
Had a great visit here. Only thing that spoilt it was my guide tried to rip me off after. Good cave and loads of bats which were cool.
Mahendra cave is in fact named after the late king Mahendra. It is not a large cave so it doesn't take a long time to complete the journey. The path is not so difficult over there. Some people might find exit a bit difficult. If you are in Pokhara spending your holidays then I would really recommend you to visit the place. If you really love adventures then you will find another cave called CHAMERO cave nearby.
