Marrakesh 40000, Morocco
This is actually a great Berber/Amazigh museum compared to others I've been too. Which was shocking to me. As a museum this good should have been in Agadir city specifically. The no photos policy always bothers me but it's very worth to see still. They organized the jewelry and clothing by regions which I've never seen before. Overall i highly recommend it.
Museum closes at 6pm. Garden closes at 7pm. We couldn't go in the museum, unfortunately. The garden is just ok. Lots of cactus and other desert plants.
Inside the Jardins Majorelle gardens but requires an extra 30 Dirhams to visit. Although very informative and lots of interesting artefacts it is very small and you will be in and out in 10 minutes. Not sure why extra fee couldn't be included in the overall garden entrance fee. Also cannot take photos inside.
Top, top & top. You get a feeling you are visiting a world-class museum, content, organization and visual/sound systems. Photography is not allowed, but tolerated. I recommend it highly.
For just a little extra on your entry ticket to the garden this museum tells the history of Berber culture in a very interesting way.
