The “tour” of the place is just their way to get you to the shop and we didn’t mind it. People can always walk away if they don’t need to buy anything. But this place did have one of best collection of beautiful handmade ceramics and pottery that I had seen. They were high quality workmanship and finishes and I bought some pieces I liked very much an agreed for them to ship it back home. Dealing with the staff was pleasant. Obviously have to do some haggling with the prices. They promised that the package will arrive when I arrive back home and it did! It was very efficient and the package was very securely packaged in a metal cage with lots of padding and cushioning. I was very impressed that nothing was chipped or damaged. I will definitely come to this place the next time I am in Fes.

Great place, free tour of the pottery making process. Then of course an option to purchase fixed price items. They are only slightly higher priced than in the Médina, but you know where you’re getting it from. They’ll custom make anything and even ship it for you. Easy to take a taxi to, although the drivers have a hard time know exactly where to go as there’s many similar places with very similar names and addresses. But that’s part of the fun. Finding a taxi back is another difficult story, but the store helped set this up. May be easier but far more expensive to hire a driver for the day. But way more fun to figure it out with taxis.

Great place to visit to get to see how hand made Moroccan pottery is made. I enjoyed getting to see the process from start to finish on display for everyone to see. The guide was kind and knowledgeable and the artisans were happy and eager to share their work with us. Beautiful pieces - the shop is a bit pricey, but good quality and nice to know where the items actually came from. FYI you can haggle down the prices a bit, especially if you buy more than one item.
