Really mind blowing experience. Awesome artworks based on light and computer generated interactive animation. Every room you walk into is such an amazing experience. Multiple times it sent chills up my spine due the sheer beauty of it. Small note, you will be wading through knee-deep water so make sure you wear something that can actually accommodate this. Must see.
Amazing experience throughout the exhibit! The entire art installation is experience barefoot which adds a very unique element. There are roughly 4 main area of the art exhibit and each one is completely different. You’ll experience water up to your knees so dress accordingly. My favorite part of the whole experience was the “birds nest” at the very end. It’s a suspended treehouse made of nets that’s extremely comfortable and relaxing to lounge around.
Awesome light exhibition! It takes at least 1.5 hrs to explore this exhibition. There are plenty of cool stuffs here. I like bean bags room and the one that look like galaxy of flowers. I think it is better to get the ticket online in advance. The location is great just right next to the monorail station. FYI, there is a room that filled with water so you better wear something knee level or above the knee, also the other room floor is mirror so ladies be careful if u wear dress or skirt.
teamLab Planets is a one of a kind experience. Going in I didn't really know what to expect and I can truly say I was blown away by the full experience. We were inside the exhibit for about 1,5 hours and really took our time to let it all in. Make sure to wear shorts though, as in some parts you have to walk through water. They can provide you with shorts if you don't have any.
Absolutely recommend this place. BUT very very crowded!!!! Take your time to stand in the line. :/ But afterwards take your time to walk between the different and astonishing light installations. The full concept is very very beautiful. You will find new stuff in every corner. I spend like 4 hours in the museum and could stay at least 2 more. (So 6 in total) The provide lockers for your stuff and a vending machines in the inside to stay hydrated. I absolutely recommend this place. If you come to Tokyo and be interested in modern art x technology. Go and visit this place. Alex from Germany
