Very convenient location for train and visiting the tourist attractions in the neighborhood, including the eponymous Hikone Castle. Great food is served. Our room had a nice view.

Visiting Hikone will never be better without staying at Hikone Castle resort and spa . Price includes kaiseki dinner, onsen, breakfast and great view and great service.

Excellent hotel with a very nice onsen, with two separate hot tubs. I've been traveling with a knee injury and soaking in the onsen helped so much. Everything was sparkly clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Such a great location near Hikone castle and Lake Biwa.

Hotel is located right across Hikose Castle. Great location for enjoying the castle and nearby attractions. My room was very tiny business hotel type room. There weren't even enough room to fully open my full size suitcase. And the worst thing was air conditioning. No matter how I set, it kept bowing air right to my face, which have me very hard time sleeping. Pillow was so cheap. Breakfast was Japanese style buffet. Practically no western food. Despite of good location, price wasn't expensive. However, I can't recommend this hotel to anyone unless you must stay near the castle.
