Great hostel, great service and very cheap breakfast! Very clean and the best out of our 3 hostels in Japan!

We stayed for one week and were really disappointed by this hostel. It was by far the worst one we stayed in Japan. The positive is that it is nicely designed on the ground floor but our dormitory was awful. The sleeping box dirty and everything you left there was soon covered with a layer of dust (I had to clean my glasses every morning because they got dirty during the night due to the dust hanging around). The bathroom facilities were also dirty but if you only have two showers for around 30 people it tends to happen. There was also no space to keep your stuff in the bathroom and all the sinks were tilted so you couldn't put anything on there. The staff was not really helpfull and they usually never looked up when approaching them at the front desk. All in all I wouldn't stay here again.

Nice capsule hotel with a hipster vibe in the Asakusa area. Hotel is well maintained and offers Shiseido brand shampoo/ conditioner/ shower gel products in bathrooms. The kitchen/ eating area is very limited/ small so it's better to dine out if you are staying here. The restaurant on the first floor also provides a discount to guests - food/alcoholic drinks are fairly cheap here if you don't feel like going out. I loved the location because there are many restaurants and markets within 1-5 min walking distance. It is also 2 min walk from a 24 hr multi-level Don Quijote store. It is about a 7 min walk from Asakusa metro/subway station - you can take the Ginza line direct to Shibuya. Only downside is that there is no JR station within walking distance - you would have to take the metro/subway from Asakusa to Ueno to get on a JR train. Also worth mentioning - this is probably one of the safest locations in Tokyo in the event of a natural disaster. I stayed here during Typhoon Hagibis, and we were not impacted at all.

I‘m just reviewing the restaurant! The staff was nice and they had an English menu. The prices are reasonable. The ramen is tasty.
